ok...now where do i begin?  i haven't posted in quite some time (and most of my intermittent musings have been about other people, non-relevant events, etc.) so let's begin with 2004.  well, for all of those that haven't figured it out, tiffany & i moved to texas to start a business.  we bought a place in july 2004...we were thinking about getting a house with a lawn, a mini-van, a german shepherd, a few rug-rats - BUT WAIT!  we're not married yet (that happens in jan 2006) and are not planning to raise rug-rats any time soon.  hence, we decided on a loft in downtown houston.  as for our start-up, the original business plan fizzled out during the spring of 05, but it spurned some creative new ideas that have been showing some real promise lately.  however, there is still quite a bit of legwork to do.  anyway, enough about work...one of the great things about texas is the beer.  if you ever get the chance, you should try anything by the "real ale" (http://www.realalebrewing.com/) people.  man, they do some good work - especially with their IPA.
